Sense of Value

Pros

Working here give me a sense of value and I know I am not just receiving a paycheck, but I am working to better the lives of others. What I do impacts other people in a positive way and that is important to me. Management values their employees, their contributions and works to develop them in their career. I have experienced this first hand.

Cons

I can't offer any at this time.

Pros

Received a promotion with this company after a couple years, and there are opportunities to move roles to avoid being bored and to have more exposure to new businesses. They use industry standards and best practices to be as efficient as possible. There were opportunities to offer improvements and recommendations. I felt authority to manage my customer as best as possible, to build my relationship with them and felt that I contributed value to my team. Majority of colleagues were committed to delivering the best work possible and understanding the business inner workings to come up with creative solutions. Had the flexibility to work from home and had a work-issue cell phone.

Cons

When seeking new ways to stay in the same vertical, I ran into clarity issues with how to advance. Other employees with fewer years of experience received a promotion, and it seemed like it was because they were rubbing shoulders with the right people. I didn't like how strong of a political scene there was.

PTO Policy Is Great

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Start of with 16 days PTO and 1 Floating holiday, or 6 Floating Holidays if you work in the Distribution Centers. PTO is consistent between business units unless it's a facility with a union contract and then the policy is typically not as good.

Cons

Training all over the company in numerous departments is par at best
