Pros
Great place to get your feet wet. You have a lot of autonomy as a sales person and can manage your territory how you want. Sales reps are not at each others throats like other companies. McKesson is well respected against competition.
Cons
The admin work is increasing exponentially. No support for sales force. Corp office people are incompetent. The worst benefits I have ever encountered. It's better to not have health insurance! Work-life balance is non-existant. McKesson won't even pay for office supplies, cell phone, gas, car or other expenses for sales force. Even though tenured Account Managers make well over 6-figures, its hard to make a decent living on what they pay now. You make very little compared to the gross profit you bring in. CEO makes over $140 million (doesn't own stock in his own company) and they act like they can't spare a penny to accomodate customers and employees.
