Pros

Good team members, that's all I can say.

Cons

No work/life balance Management is not supportive Management is clueless of what working technology should be The product I implemented was at least 30 years old when purchased by McKesson. Piece of garbage. Can someone say due diligence? McKesson is now battling a poor reputation with clients and would LOVE to blame their employees, however, the lack of support and knowledge by senior management is astounding. Management lack of accountability Travel is too extensive. Funeral leave is disrespected at every level. Shameful, shameful, shameful. Best thing I ever did was leave this organization.

Pros

Excellent workplace culture and exchange Educational opportunites and career path development are abundant. Management was accessiible and supportive.

Cons

Increased project duties and deadlines were exacerbated by increased micromanagement. As with many companies during this economic climate, budgets were tightening.

Pros

This is a very big company with a solid and very stable future. Great benifits, lots of opportunity to gain experience.

Cons

Thought I was compensated well, discovered that I was not paid as well as in other industries. Actually didn't figure that out until a new hire came in at a director level. I saw that his talents are not on par with mine... that prompted me to look around and discovered that I should actually be making about 30% more... It's too bad really, I was happy until I leaned how ignorance is bliss... Employees tend to hold several titles in name only and are generally paid for the lower of the titles... For example, a product manager who is not really a "product manager" by title, wouldn't get the product manager bonus handed out each quarter.... I know!!!! Still, a good company to work for, just wish they would pay better and compensate for the work performed. You should still jump at a chance to work here... just be sure the T gets crossed and the I gets dotted.
