Pros

Good experience can be gained Good for resume Booming industry Senior Leadership is competent Flexible with time off and hours Good corporate education center and program There are spots of brightness Very good potential.

Cons

Pay is not always competitive - if you do not get hired in at a good wage, you may never make one Management respects your opinion - so long as it matches theirs Benefits were great but slipping quickly. Business is inherently very low margin Have you seen the CEOs pay? WOW Company wide program about how to treat others with respect, achieve excellence, integrity, etc. is no more than a cliche. Some people get away with murder. Not everyone - but some are the most mean-spirited, arrogant, condescending people I've ever met. Gross inequities for roles and pay across the country, separate divisions and also within the same location. Lots of placating.

Pros

This company is very amusing. Management are like cartoon characters. Politics is extremely entertaining. Pay is very generous.

Cons

The company doesnt care how many people quit and doesn't value anyone. They only care about managers. There was someone in upper management who everyone hated and people kept quitting because of this person. And yet this person got promoted higher and higher. And only after making an unbelievably crazy comment to the employee this person got fired. Same happened few years before to another manager. And there is one more person who will get caught sooner or later.

Pros

McKesson is leading the way on the future of work. Very impressed with the commitment to flexible work, and supporting employees inside and outside of work. While other companies are foolishly mandating people back to the office, McKesson is leading the charge on hybrid work and building an environment that supports employees. Working at McKesson also provides purpose. We are really doing great work that impacts many.

Cons

Office politics are overwhelming. Working from home makes it more bearable. It’s unclear how to get promoted within HR and HRSS. It often seems that the people who are well-liked, or in the “in” clique, will continue getting opportunities, whether they have relevant experience or not. If it feels this way in HR I bet others feel this way too. Communication about how to advance your career have been inconsistent. They tell us to take lateral moves, so we do, and still only the popular people get the expanded opportunities.
