      too many office politics, management don't know their jobs well

      The woodland is a good location

      mid and some upper managers don't know their jobs well. Each year they changed or lifted the so-called 'performance review' expectation level, and some full-time employee were forced to work as 'part-time' or fired onside, as I heard. some managers bring formal 'usoncology' culture(usonclogy was a company purchased by McKesson in year 2010) take advantage of their subordinates seriously: no work-life balance. managers/team-leaders don't know their jobs well; too many office politics. mid-level managers micro-manage their team members and make the team working atmosphere very suppressive.

      Pros

      Ever changing industry. Good benefits. Lots of change for those who get bored. Approachable leadership. Challenging work. Open-minded leadership. Free soft drinks in break rooms in Alpharetta.

      Cons

      Max out on PTO time by the 4th calendar year of employment. No huge incentive to stay around after a while. Many people left and returned within a year or two and made over 15% higher salary upon returning. Very low merit increases. Many people in lesser roles made more money because I didn't leave and return.

      I honestly cannot think of one.

      Cons

      Worst working experience I have ever had while in my 19 years in the healthcare field. Sad to admit that I stayed 3 1/2 years. Other locations of McKesson may be fine, but not Winston-Salem, NC. Please think twice before applying here.
