Fabulous benefits! Lots of opportunities for advancement because of the size of the organization. When you are ready for a new challenge there are many directions to turn. Great forward thinking management. Open to innovation. Many remote/telecommuter positions available.

Cons

Unspoken expectations to work more than 45 hours/week but so far it has not been stated. If you are productive in your work day you will be fine.

well established .. 180 years old Fortune 14 .. over $1.2 billion in profits largest player in healthcare oligopoly

Cons

Management favoritism is rampant. If not in favor, an employee is akin to the U.S. soldiers captured as Korean War POWs described in the book, "The Bucket List". Older employees can forget about advancement. Lots of employee development talk, very little employee development walk. Remindful of George Orwell's book "1984". May be part of the healthcare problem, not part of the healthcare solution.

managers could careless about your career. Just shut up and do what you told. Bureaucracy and micromanagement. You need to work very hard to catchup with the work load yet, no good words from the management.
