Pros

- Clean workplace - Good Paid Time Off - Diversity

Cons

- Micromanaging every single thing - Production/ assembly work environment and it does not seems like a BioMed job. They care about how many devices you do a day. - Management lies to get the new hires accept the job. - Management is still struggling with the high employee turnover rate - Too Political work environment - If you are not part of a group, you will not get what you want from the management - Gossiping is toxic here - LOAD work Environment and workers play music loudly out of their computers and smartphones. It is a complete disaster. - Management overlooks people's knowledge of the Biomed industry and tries to control your skills and treat you like if you were a robot - They find ways to pay you less compared to the productivity you provide for the company. They exhaust you while the pay is less than the other employers. You have high productivity while trying to pay you less. - Senior management does not try to get involved in making this place a better place for the current and new employees - Pay is down compared to what you provide for the company

Pros

Great people, great comradery, great benefits.

Cons

Incredibly poor internal support from departments you rely on to do your job with little accountability. Work from Home coupled with cuts in spending on needed resources (especially people resources) have hurt the company. Credit, AR and other services being off-shored leaving customers and internal workers frustrated. Turn around time to get cases resolved painfully slow. And probably some of the poorest tech used and support for tech available. Salesforce is one platform used but the support department doesn't seem to know how to use it, help it or make it efficient for those using. Was warned by someone that the "bean counters are going to kill off McKesson" and thought that was a dramatic statement. Now, I'm a believer. Too much disconnect between departments, too much off-shoring, poor investment in digital infrastructure and becoming detached from customer focus. Add to that constant monkeying with comp for sales and it is just sad overall.

Pros

-Great pay -Supervisors provide dinners when work is heavier than normal -Supervisors and leads are extremely helpful, they’ve always been willing to explain things and take the time to help. -We are kept up to date as to what is going on in the company.

Cons

-Hours are always over 40 every week, you never know when you are going to go home. It isn’t as bad for night shift because it’s not like your missing much, but i imagine it is a lot more frustrating for day shift. Shifts range from 9-13 hours (5 days a week) -ATTENDANCE POLICY IS VERY STRICT! Each point you get lasts one year,(they never get wiped at one time) and you can only get 8 points. no call no show is 4 points, being late is 1, if you have an emergency or get sick and need to leave early it is half a point. -If you call in you have to use flex pto (i think you get 40 hours) any call ins after that you get 2 points for. -i understand that we have to be there to get the work done because patients need their medication, BUT i think they would have a lot more long lasting employees if they were more forgiving about the policy. -I am aware that supervisors often forgive people for being late and do not give them a point, for example I was 1 minute late to clock in one day and I explained to my supervisor that I arrived on time but my badge (which you need to enter the building) had fallen into a tight spot in my car, and it took a while to retrieve, but it was still counted late, (I did not miss stretching or anything at all) not complaining that they didn’t forgive me, BUT, I was told by a co worker that they had been late more than 10 minutes late and they were forgiven by the supervisor. It’s just frustrating knowing that other people get free passes for being extremely late. vs being 1 minute late when your attendance is otherwise perfect.
