Pros

Great job out of college. They help you build software development and management skills that you could apply anywhere.

Cons

The division between Systems and the rest of the company can feel isolating.

Pros

There is a lot of opportunity to get moved horizontally through different departments. This helps management to minimize burnout in the employees. You might answer phones for 2 years, then enter fax orders for 2 years, then do business operations for a few years. There is also a great work-life balance for non-management. You work your shift, and then you go home.

Cons

The work is pretty boring, especially if you want to be intellectually challenged. You get no say in which departments you get moved to. They also say they are equal opportunity, but most minorities work in the warehouse, and very few women or minorities are in upper levels of management.

Pros

Phenomenal company, extremely respectful of the work-life balance of their staff people (can't speak to the management side). Absolutely unheard-of employee benefits. Higher-than-average salaries for the industry.

Cons

If you're not used to a rigorous environment, if you expect to come into work and play Solitaire or check your personal email 5 times a day or sit at your desk and text, this is probably not the company for you. High expectations (but completely 100% achievable).
