Pros

-We are employee owned, the shareholders are the employees, I cannot overstate how valuable that is when it comes to peace of mind for a long term career. No one is going to just up and buy us out. -My team and the people I work with are solid gold. We've had some bad apples over the years, and they do not last. -This industry has been labled as "recession-proof" and we weathered the pandemic recession extremely well with minimal layoffs. We've rehired some of the lay-offs. -This company is growing and becoming a better version of itself every year. -I feel seen, safe, and listened to every day.

Cons

-Return to office started being a thing. I work 5 days a week from the office so it doesn't effect me, but half my team is hybrid or remote and we get our work done. I don't think return to office ever needs to be a thing again. -Process improvement needs work but I will say we are being heard on this and changes are happening.

Pros

Good benefits, lots of great people.

Cons

Bad managers allow for backstabbing and harassment of employees who are older and female. Basically a "good old boys club". HR and upper management simply ignore and do nothing as they are currently hurting for employees.

Pros

Wide variety of projects to work on, really encourage individual growth.

Cons

During construction season, expect to live out of town for duration of project to be construction inspector. Maybe working 6/days a week with challenges to get time off that you need. Expect to work long hours when a deadline is approaching.
