Pay is $10,000-20,000 behind.. Poor to average medical insurance. Poor to average 401k matching and vesting time.

The flexibility is excellent and there are oppotunities to work from home. Great Oppotunity to work with most current systems such as Kronos and Workday. Pays above market for payroll employees.

Cons

The biggest challenge is learning pivot tables and vlookups. Folks think payroll is easy and simple when it is complex and difficult.
