Pros

Some great colleagues who genuinely care about their work. Decent benefits and compensation. Opportunities to learn if you’re proactive

Cons

Disrespectful Leadership: Many leaders talk down to employees, dismiss concerns, and fail to foster a respectful work environment. Constructive feedback is often met with hostility rather than support. Lack of Employee Value: Hard work is rarely recognized, and employees are often overworked without appreciation or proper support. Poor Communication: Leadership lacks transparency, making it difficult for employees to feel informed or included in important decisions. Toxic Work Environment: Low morale due to favoritism, micromanagement, and a general disregard for employee well-being.

Do Not Work Here

Pros

None. Finding a new job was the only pro

Cons

Medrisk is a terrible company to work for. They are very unprofessional and incompetent. They only care about quota expectations. The quota is so high that it makes for a very stressful environment and it's impossible to focus on good quality work. Due to the lack of focus on quality, numerous mistakes are happening. Carriers and therapy centers constantly complain that their specific requests are not being followed. They keep firing U.S. based employees and outsourcing to the Philippines. The higher ups will reassign you to a new department OR to another department you once worked in without any prior notice. Even if said department caused severe stress and anxiety. They do not care about an employee's mental and emotional well-being. They have a ridiculous point system for their attendance policy. Even if you are legitimately sick and call out, you get points. The handbook clearly states that they will not accept doctor notes. Do not work here because you will quickly realize how little they care about you. They don't like employees coming to them with questions/concerns on their workflows and having a discussion on how to improve things. They do what they want to do and just want you to be a robot for them.

Pros

work from home and they send equipment

Cons

Micromanaged, even when you cough or clear your throat on the phone, you're told not to because its "unprofessional". When you need help during a call with a customer, sometimes help is unavaliable
