Pros
During my first year at Medallion, I've gained more knowledge than I did in my three years at my previous company. This is a great place if you want to grow your career. I genuinely wake up excited to go to work everyday, which I cannot say was true at all my previous companies! Medallion is the real deal, possessing both an excellent product and a strong leadership team crucial for building a successful company. While every startup faces challenges, what sets Medallion apart is the transparent and direct approach of our Leadership team. They don't sugarcoat things, they tell the whole company whats going great and what we need to improve upon which I really appreciate. I think we are all aware that we're contributing to something that could be extraordinary, and it has been so exciting to be involved in the growth of the company and see all the different stages.
I also thoroughly enjoy the people I work with. The people here really stand out! Medallion puts a huge emphasis on hiring smart, humble, positive and hard working people. I love my colleagues!
This is a fantastic company if you thrive in a fast pace environment, are quick at responding to changes (which is typical for any startup), want to make impact, and help build structure/processes.
Cons
There have been some recent leadership changes in one department - but that is super common at startups and the company has been very transparent with communication which I appreciate.
