Pros

Good support, great benefits, good equipment, changes happening, time flies by as it's a busy place.

Cons

Allocated 8 sick days - but - if missing 5 in 12 consecutive mths...you get a talk, even if it's out of your control. Evaluations are puzzling in their quantitative approach...allocated x points but can lose 2x the allocated points on some categories. If bilingual, very busy...only 15 secs between calls. High turnover...

Pros

Weekends and holidays off, some bonus money

Cons

The job is brain-melting and stressful beyond comprehension. I spent 2.5 years here and my metal health deteriorated at an alarming rate. The micromanaging is unlike anything I had ever experienced in my entire working life. Every single second is expected to be work work work. The amount of systems you have to learn and jump between and issues you have to deal with is unreal, and the pay does not even come close to honoring it. They promote MeNtAl hEaLtH all throughout the company and it is so laughable because they do not let you use your sick time for anything. They promote "8 sick days" but if you go past 2 or 3 you are seen as a problem and you will be spoken to about it. People that work through all manner of illnesses and grief are praised, where people who need time away from the non-stop stress and disgusting micromanagement mess are used as examples of what not to be. Also, they go on and on about being able to move around in the company, but if you use any sick time and aren't robotic enough to score what is needed for the stats, you won't be moving anywhere. I did ok with my first 2 managers but I was given a 3rd newly promoted manager 6 months prior to my getting let go and put on their team and it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. This person was the absolute worst team leader I ever had in my entire adult working career. I had bad anxiety to begin with and being put on this person's team made it 50 times worse. This person knew of my crippling anxiety and she made sure to exploit it and broke me down into nothing. In the end, they ganged up with HR to find a way to get rid of me. I guess I was too human and not robotic for them. The best thing about that company was teaching me the difference between a horrible employer and an amazing employer because 2 months after I was fired, I was hired on with an incredible IT helpdesk company that does not micro manage, is not busy non-stop, give ample sick time you are actually encouraged to use, plus I get way more vacation and a higher salary. It was like being freed from an abusive relationship.
