Pretty much everything you could ask for

Incredibly flexible work hours and management. Team and company-wide activities. Top-end computers. Generous salaries. Start-up culture.

Cons

Sometimes I have to wait for 3rd parties and partners to wake up, which can be frustrating, but we work around it. Flexible work hours help massively.

Pros

The people, though that is very rapidly changing with so many good ones leaving the company. Great opportunities to pivot into new job functions (read caveats in cons section).

Cons

Recent (1 year+) sexism and poor top-level leadership in engineering - a complete lack of cohesive direction and a lot of aggression/unprofessionalism when anyone disagrees with top level leadership. Most of the attrition is being responded to by hiring offshore contractors - it would be unsurprising if the number of contractors are greater than the number of full time employees still at the company. Company has felt more and more like a sinking ship with each passing day - while there are many opportunities to pivot into other job functions, it is no longer an environment where the infrastructure to grow and learn exists; you're set up for total failure even if you do get the opportunity to step into a role you've been working towards getting into.

- Extremely intelligent group of people who are always happy to help each other - Great culture with regular team outings and and impromptu events - There are many departments in the company so there is always something new to learn - Flexible working arrangements - Highly respected company - Strong relationship with all clients and industry peers
