Pros

There are no pros for this company.

Cons

No training. No resources. No support. Because a previous sales executive told the big holding company agencies that they’d be dinosaurs a few years ago, very limited opportunity with any accounts run by a large agency. Almost everything they said in the interview process was false. Almost everyone is miserable and jaded. Dated tech with no discernible advantages over any DSP other than “well known name”. Almost all the old talent has left. New talent turns over quickly.

Hello there, Thank you for submitting your review. Please allow us to address your concerns. We aim to be transparent with employees throughout their journey with us, from the time that they are talking with our recruiters through our multi-day orientation, onboarding, and through what we hope will be a long tenure. Thus, we are dismayed to hear that you felt misled. We train everyone involved in the interview process to accurately represent roles and MediaMath to prospects with the goal that when employees arrive, they are excited by what they find and they continue to be excited and challenged by opportunities for learning and career growth. While we work in a dynamic environment in a constantly changing industry, our culture that is grounded in our values and our commitment to our clients and to each other. With our goal of continuously improving, we welcome more feedback about what might have been misrepresented in your interview process. We show our commitment to our employees in numerous ways, one of which is arming them with the information and training they need to be successful at every step of the way. Upon joining the company, we provide a 3-day New Hire Experience that gives an overview of the company, our history, our values, and how we operate. We deep dive into our product and technology, how it works, what it does and our roadmap for the future. We stay on track by ensuring each new hire works with their manager on a plan that covers their 90 day onboarding New Mathletes will discuss with their managers as part of their on-boarding plan what certifications and courses to prioritize. We’re committed to ongoing learning and development and keep it going with numerous trainings and resources on everything from our technology to our industry and general manager, leadership, and skills-based courses that we offer throughout the year. Our technology is industry leading and we have invested hugely in it over the past few years. We’ve given customers more control over their investments with full transparency with SOURCE, we’ve prepared our clients for a cookie-less world with our identity solution, and provided optionality with a tech stack that is infinitely adaptable and modular. We have not been immune to the Great Resignation and our voluntary attrition rate was higher than expected. Having said that, vacancies are currently filled in less than 75 days on average across the Company and 67 days on average across our Client Success Organisation and we have hired some fantastic talent in 2021 and continue to hire. We measure the engagement of our employees through quarterly surveys and ongoing feedback and while we did see a dip in engagement, it is on the rise again as we invest in our community and culture in new ways during the ongoing COVID epidemic.

Pros

Mathletes are incredibly supportive. From day-to-day, 1:1 interactions to investing in corporate training programs, we care about each others success. We're working on solving tough problems and everyone in the organization plays a role in finding solutions.

Cons

If you don't love tech, you may find this a challenging place to succeed. Mathletes are technically inclined and for those not interested in learning, that will be a constant barrier to exceeding in your role. 'Obsess. over growth' is a true company value we uphold.
