      Great staff but heavy workload

      Pros

      Nursing staff is great. Everyone helps each other out and there is room to enter different specialties that your heart desires.

      Cons

      Heavy workload. You can easily get burnt out by the patient population and patient assignments. Ratio is 1:6 here and it will wear you out.

      Pros

      nice people to work with very helpful they offered a residency program and a nurse internship while I was in school that was paid!

      Cons

      I was a new grad and they wanted to rush me off of orientation because they were so short staffed not very safe

      Pros

      Great people to work with. One of the best teaching hospitals around this area. The system makes you keep updated in everything. Great nurse educators around. Good system that support each other. Good retirement plan. Always open to work extra.

      Cons

      High living expense in Odessa (apartment rent). Not competitive salary. Sometimes short-staffed
