Pros

The benefits were great, and honestly the rest of the company outside of the tech side of things seemed to have their ducks in a row. Unlimited PTO was nice, but some people definitely abused it. Outside of this, they like to pay pretty far below market for development talent so make sure you don't sell yourself short when negotiating pay.

Cons

Overall, the tech team was a chaotic mess and had extremely high turnover during my brief time with this company, which meant all of the remaining team members got constantly shuffled around between different teams. I think I saw 8 people on the tech team leave over the course of 6-7 months? One of them had been with the company for 4 years and couldn't get promoted despite being one of their best tech team members, so he left. Big red flag when a company doesn't promote their employees but keeps hiring on new ones at a higher salary rate. Also, the bar on productivity was set so incredibly low here. This is, on the flip side, a great place to work for lazy devs who are tired of keeping up with new technology changes, or sunsetting devs who are ready to cruise into retirement. Or hey, if you're into being overemployed, this is one of those jobs that would be great for it. I really have no ill-will towards this company even though they pretty much lied to me during the interview process as far as the role I was getting hired on to do and the work that I actually ended up doing, which was mainly Microsoft Dynamics work and very, very little coding. I just want to warn any future prospective employees that they should set their expectations pretty low if they get hired on here. Or, at the very least, make sure you ask good questions during the interview process to be certain you really know what you're getting yourself in to. I certainly didn't and I wish someone would have warned me.
