Pros

I was at a turning point in my career - I had worked for both a small company and a very large company - and Medicus is right in the middle and is a great fit for me. My boss has outlined a plan for me to move up to the next level and become a manager. I am challenged each day and at the end of the day I go home feeling like I have accomplished so much - I wake up and look forward to coming to Medicus. The culture and coworkers are something I have never experienced. Everyone is motivational and so kind. If we meet our goal each month, EVERY employee earns cash bonuses! I am someone that is kind of a health nut, so I really enjoy going down to the state-of-the-art gym and taking group fitness classes with the awesome instructors - including spin, pilates and bootcamp.

Cons

I have been at Medicus for approximately one year and have not experienced any cons. In fact, I am heavily recruiting my family and friends to come and work for Medicus because of the experience I have had.

Pros

The only pro was the PTO. But when you make minimum wage you can't afford to go on vacation! Some nice coworkers...the rest were fake, phony and fake!

Cons

Like I said the pay was awful. Who goes to college to make $14 bucks an hour. It's pathetic. The little bonuses you make on the credentials each quarter are menial. None of the managers in that department knew how to run the dept or speak to employees. The reviews were horrible and the managers were awful at delivery. My increase was a joke. I should've spit in my manager's face. It is like other's say very high school and incestuous. You'll find many people have dated one another and when people go on those president club trips they end up breaking up relationships....that's how two of the employees still there got together...pathetic. And yet, as others say making money off old accounts that they inherited or got at the beginning of there tenure 10 years ago and haven't developed any business. The monthly lame meetings were a joke...say people win a fake plaque...thats not recognition. Show me the money. The definitely played favorites and there was no advancement. There was alot of turnover when I was there...I made up any excuse to leave that place. Glad I did...I haven't lived below poverty level since!!! Please people know your worth....and your due diligence. Everyone is accurate when they say low pay...I mean even for NH standards low low pay. Don't do it!!

Pros

They have a nice building, good benefits and 401K, decent culture, open door policy with CEO who is willing to listen but sometimes turns a blind eye..

Cons

Extremely political and they know it. They boast meritocracy to mask the sneaky, slimy, politics that take place. There are three kinds of people who work here - 1) those who are "lifers" and have been with the company 5+ years. They are protected and get away with a lot that would send anyone else packing. These people have acquired many "legacy" accounts from others who have left over time. They don't do any work yet reap all the benefits and are put on a pedestal to try and encourage others to strive to be like them. The reality is that this small percentage of employees are positioned to always dominate, making it nearly impossible for anyone to ever compete. Yet they see this as a way to motivate the bottom half, it's all a smoke and mirror show. 2) those who work extremely hard and are underpaid, under appreciated and will never advance in the company unless someone at the top quits. They'll give you an award from time to time to keep you quiet but at the end of the day it doesn't make up for the lack of professional growth and extremely low compensation. Those who are motivated, determined, and bust their butt don't last longer than 2 years because they're usually the ones who are smart enough to realize they're treading water no matter how hard they swim. 3) those who are incompetent, immature, and full of drama. They seem to hire just about anyone off the street. These people aren't polished or professional and make you feel like you're back in high school or even worse, question your own intelligence for working side by side with such low talent. Lots of gossip, interoffice dating, bullies, and rumors. The strangest part is that all of this behavior is encouraged and never punished or frowned upon. Their reasoning is that they want to create an environment where people look forward to going to work everyday, even if that means you just go to work to socialize. Save yourself the time, sweat, and tears and get a real job because this place is a joke. Most of the reviews on here are from people who are either at the top and are given trips and cars or those who are at the bottom and are just thankful to have a job that serves alcohol and throws parties.
