Pros

Company paid lunch tuesday-thursday, personal travel options, management is really helpful, company trying to address racial barriers as Atlanta staff is mostly of color. Great work life balance sometimes.

Cons

They LIE!! Told that we had an implementation bonus they took it away said it was cus of covid but recruiters lied and said it was an intiative. Made us come into the office and lied during hiring and said position was fully remote Passive agressive management and poor training for implementation specialist. Travel can be demanding especially if people quit, if you have children this position is NOT FOR YOU

Pros

- Nice offices - Flexibility - Great coworkers and low level management - Practically impossible to get fired (unless you tell them you plan on leaving, in this case they will terminate you immediately) - Ice cream

Cons

- If you want to be paid market value, AVOID this company. This company pays bottom of the barrel salaries. Salaries are insultingly low, roughly 30k - 60k under market value. They prey on people who are oblivious to their worth. They'll give you scraps for a raise every year to string you along to try to keep you happy all while your buying power is diminished due to inflation. When I finally woke up and realized the true value of my skills, I left the company for over a 50% increase in salary. - If you want a great retirement plan, AVOID this company. The company promotes their profit-sharing plan as the retirement plan. However, the annual profit-sharing amount is lackluster. They will also not pay you your profit-sharing contribution for the year you leave the company. The company in recent years added a 401k plan but does not match it. Employees have to contribute to it on their own using their meager salary. - If you don't want to be micromanaged, AVOID this company. The company uses a homegrown system that they named Insight (formerly Time Machine) to track your time even though they are already using a product from Atlassian that is named Insight. Using two products named Insight; brilliant!! Out of all the names they could have copied, they should have picked a name that truly represents the spirit of the system; something like Subversion. Not only do they want to track time spent on projects, they want to track everything, including time spent reading email, etc. If you're a current employee reading this during your lunch break, don't forget to log your time for this. - If you want to be respected as an employee, AVOID this company. The company’s founder has been quoted as saying "But what we have learned, like any company learns, is to be ultimately successful, you've got to get, shall I say, better than average performance out of average level people because by and large, that's all that's out there, are average level people." The video can easily be found on YouTube. This sentiment still rings true today. It sums up how the company views their employees, as simply average people that are disposable. This becomes extremely evident if you give them a letter of resignation with a two week notice, because more likely than not, they'll terminate you the same day. - If you're a software engineer or CS major and want to gain transferable skills, AVOID this company. The proprietary languages and platforms are crude at best and have poor integration with any non-Meditech tools and languages. - If you want to advance in your career, AVOID this company. There is no room for advancement. Titles have 2 tiers; you're either at your starting title or senior "starting title". If you've been promoted to a "senior", congrats, you've hit the ceiling. There’s one exception to this; If you meet special requirements, getting a ludicrous title of Computer Scientist is possible. - If you don’t want to be embarrassed by having to list this company on your resume, AVOID this company. - If you don’t want to have to waste your time writing a review like this, AVOID this company. - Other miscellaneous cons: no HR, forced stock buyback, eroded benefits, underpowered hardware, and phones that looks like props from the set of Three's Company

Pros

They train well. If you have no experience, you can start here as a stepping stone. They almost never fire or lay people off.

Cons

The company has gone very much downhill in the last 10 years. They pay lowest in the industry across all positions. The only promote from within, often from pools which lack the necessary expertise in the field. Executive management is incompetent and out of touch with reality. Raises never match inflation, and are usually frozen for all staff anyway. Benefits have been cut. Stocks are no longer available to staff. Nepotism is rampant. Nothing is industry standard. It takes 10 people in middle management to approve a single change. There's never enough staff, and always an excuse why no one can have a hiring spot. You'll be doing 3 people's jobs in less than a year after everyone around you quits, but won't get paid for it. They require you to track every minute of your day in at least 2 different systems plus their punch clock system. They're a tech company who doesn't want their staff to work from home. They excel at micromanagement from all levels. This company makes the movie Office Space look like it would be a vast improvement from where it is today.
