Pros

Schedule can be flexible-ish. Colleagues are generally happy to help with problems. Hybrid is only 2 days in office.

Cons

VERY LOW salary. VERY VERY VERY set in their old ways, slow to adapt to changing business conditions (if at all). “Ombudsman” over HR, not really a trustworthy structure. Hired a VP of People from outside the company, gave a lot of us hope for improvements, only to fire him out of nowhere just over a year into his tenure. Career opportunities are highly variable depending on management hierarchy.

Coworkers were helpful and nice.

-role was originally remote & was changed to hybrid after job was accepted -company unable to financially sustain employees but hired hundreds of new hires only to lay us off a few months later -low pay
