Pros

The benefits, such as health insurance and vacation/sick time, are unparalleled. Management is very receptive to employee feedback and the group setting is very personal and friendly. There is ample training provided. The food is awesome!

Cons

Starting salary is low compared to other companies in a similar industry (but this is outweighed by the generous benefits). The company is dead-set in their ways and are somewhat reluctant to change.

Cons

Old antiquated technology. Software is mediocre jack of all trades software but master of none. The company sells a lot of software because it knows the political game and it sells to a technologically primitive sector. There is little room for technical growth or career advancement because of it. We also do not attract good talent also because of it. Hence our software will always be mediocre at best. In the short term of course, the company will continue to make gobs of money, but how long will that last?
