There are currently no pros to working here besides getting paid.

Cons

CEO has no idea what is happening in their own company. They have lost too much buisness in the last few years. Much to the point where they are responsible for the companies first layoffs. Now she is trying to save face by not doing another round of lay off. Instead she is forcing a 2 day in office policy with the hopes/certainty that people will quit. You are treated like a child who has to be monitored 24/7 and lower management does help.

The health insurance benefits are still pretty good

Cons

Upper management is completely out of touch with employees and does not check in with employees before making sweeping policy changes. Policy changes are also often made suddenly and without any guidance or QnA. A lot of focus is put on maintaining the appearance of a happy full office, seemingly to justify the fact that the company owns all its offices instead of renting. The low pay compared to industry standards used to be offset by strong job security but the company has recently decided to break its 60 year streak of no layoffs so there isn't even that anymore. There's almost no upward mobility at the company, and raises are paltry at best. High turnover is common in newer employees and getting worse.

The salary is awful for the industry. Employees are not valued or appreciated. CEO (Michelle O'Connor) is extremely disliked by employees because she doesn't respect or appreciate them. MEDITECH was once a good company to work for, but it's a sinking ship.
