Pros

Gym and cafeteria, oh and we have some fun company wide activities like EAW. The campus is nice too. There are some great people within the organization.

Cons

Where do I begin?! Working at in marketing at Medline was probably one of the worst decisions in my career. The culture is terrible, leadership doesn't lead instead they are reactive and can't even manage themselves, and employees are overworked and there is a weird competitive childlike dynamic between the teams. I am most disappointed in leadership, they really foster a poor working environment. They allow bullying, team divides and encourage working 12 hour days as the bare minimum. Yet, they aren't able to manage themselves, constantly changing direction, missing deadlines and cannot move forward on anything. They are reactive to what their 'clients' (which are literally our colleagues) will think, sales and business leadership. Marketing wants to be strategic so bad but they never will be because we are not empowered to do so. Instead we do as we are told, we are not partners with the rest of the business. The company doesn't even have any D&I groups, its all about work. Very traditional, must be by your phone and answer within 2 rings. C-suite micromanages and will be upset if people within a division are gone by 5PM.

Pros

I really can't find any

Cons

This is like taking a time machine back to the 1970's. People here get promoted or are in positions they have no merit being, except that they are "in" with the Mills. The culture is the worst. It is outdated and rigid. There is no diversity or flexibility. No summer hours, no morale, its outdated corporate America. Its like I'm living and working in Mad Men times. I didn't think culture like this still existed. Highly advise to go literally anywhere else. Also terrible health benefits for a health company.

Pros

The only good thing was the cafeteria and gym.

Cons

No work life balance No ability to work from home Leaders did not have ability to make decisions No employee engagement And the best part is that the company is having their attorney send out tuition reimbursement demands during a pandemic where over 16 million people have filed unemployment and the economy is crashing (and the amount is incorrect, they are asking for more than I submitted / received). Goes to show that they only care about making profit where they could be putting their resources to better use. I had to leave prior to the 3 year agreement since everyday I would have a breakdown due to the demand of the job and the way I was treated. I was forced to leave to save my mental health. This is the worst company I ever worked for.
