Horrible...the absolute worst employer that exists

Pros

The new building is gorgeous, but the people are dead inside and evil. This app requires me to write more pros...but there are not any.

Cons

Horrible culture, extremely stressful and demotivating. This is not a company founded on care for the customer. The company only cares about making money...including how to find the cheapest products to sell for the highest margins and how to hire the cheapest talent for the highest level of responsibility. Pay is extremely low. Benefits are not good and get worse every year bc the CEO does not want to pay a lot for benefits. He has been rumored to say on various occasions that he doesn't want to hire fat people. The leaders in this company are under qualified and incompetent. Most in VP roles were at much lower levels at prior companies. A VP at Medline is equivalent to a Sr manager anywhere else. The owners and their inner circle are horrible. Definitely a good old boys club...all white men in senior leadership roles.

Pros

Stable and growing organization. Discounted food in cafeteria.

Cons

Zero Work life balance. Employee feedback is often ignored and frowned upon.No remote work or work from home on weekdays. Employees have to take half day/vacation even for 1-2 hr doctor appointments. Weekends however you are expected and may work remotely. Corporate office needs renovation and more basic amenities such as restrooms. Managers expect you to explain your personal reasons if you ask for any reasonable accommodations.

Boys Club Deluxe - no investment in leadership

Pros

Cafeteria, fitness center, starbucks, matched 401(k)

Cons

The WORST division president ever. the division has massive turnover directly because of him - yet they do nothing and he's "untouchable". Total boys club - if you are a woman or a minority, beware.
