Great company, the Mills family is frequently seen and promotes a great atmosphere. Great work life balance, best company ever worked for. Was offered a promotion based off performance within 5 months but was contingent on continuing education.

Cons

If you do not have a Bachelor's degree you are limited to entry level positions, even though people with Bachelor's degrees are hired and don't even know how to use basic Excel formulas and send a proper email. Master's degree is becoming required to be an entry level executive.

Pros

Help Hospitals and other customers getting medical supplies. If you enjoy over time for the money, go for it! Bonuses if you meet their standards and cheat your way into getting them. Big on being "Safe".

Cons

Say goodbye to consistency. Randomly take breaks and lunches at who knows when? Going home on time? Nope, it's a mystery. Try leaving on time, but get points deducted or a warning for doing so. Really not as "Safe", but clean...sort of. Supervisors change shifts, so remember who is your "New" Supervisor.

The clicks are awful. If you show the least bit of potential advancement to your current manager, the claws come out and you are put on the radar for dismissal. There is one person in particular who had a very bad reputation for this exact thing. Unfortunately, she was my manager. One misunderstanding in 5 years, blew up into something it shouldn't have. No loyalty, no understanding, very non-forgiving. They say in large corporations you are a dime a dozen. That is absolutely accurate with Medline.
