Pros

- Amazing people you bond with over shared trauma - Right next to the Summit Hotel so you can drink to forget the horrible day you’ve had

Cons

- Let go of hundreds of people in multiple rounds of layoffs during COVID-19 just to rehire the exact same positions days later. Layoffs included many loyal and long time employees so that the company could hire in at lower pay and save cash during a pandemic. - Working from home during pandemic used as a strike against you - Upper management is completely clueless as to daily activities of employees, many times asking you questions about the processes they are supposedly in charge of training people on - Expected to do tons of work outside the scope of your job description and pay, many times will give your the work load of a seasoned employee but pay you the same as a Wendy’s manager

Pros

The company does allow for some flexibility in work hours however they are subject to managers who often do not understand the rules for flexing time, salad every day, gym

Cons

After about 6 months of working for the company my position was eliminated due to COVID-19 and I was not given the opportunity to move into one of the hundreds of open positions within the company. I am very disappointed in the leadership of this company because there are many ways that they could have taken care of the people that worked for them but they chose not to do that and that is all you need to know about the company.

In this uncertain time of COVID-19, we have had to make some very difficult decisions (just like most other organizations). Although we had maintained our full workforce with full pay for the initial weeks of the various lockdowns, despite the fact that many of our positions cannot be performed if our campus is not open, unfortunately this is not a sustainable long-term option. It was a very difficult decision to release some of our on-campus staff, and we hope that the severance packages offered to them will help in part to sustain during a difficult economic time for everyone. We certainly understand the frustration and anxiety everyone has felt in this difficult time and we are confident that by working together we will get through this. We are starting to operate “business as usual” and are confident we will be able to continue our growth as the year continues. Certainly we understand your frustration about being selected for layoff and we wish you well in your future career.

Pros

Free lunch, casual dress code, nice gym on main campus, constantly growing, sponsors lots of walks/runs and covers employee entrance fees.

Cons

Claims to care most about employee safety but is making employees return to office during COVID-19 outbreak even though most employees can work from home. Managers have lack of training with handling employees. Lack of good training. High turnover so management doesnt care about you.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear you have enjoyed the on-site perks Medpace has to offer. In regard to COVID-19, we are navigating as best as we can and assure you we are taking this very seriously. We are complying with CDC guidelines and have allowed our employees to work 100% remotely for the last 5 weeks. This has been determined and evaluated based on new information we get daily on the spread of the virus. Due to the recent announcement per the Governor of Ohio, we will be allowing employees to return to the office next week (on a staggered schedule) every other week to ensure we help stop the spread. The return to work is a slow and gradual process. Our goal is to continue operations and save as many employee jobs as possible. We can only do this by promoting a safe and efficient workplace and unfortunately, a completely remote based workplace is not as efficient for our model which relies on collaboration and communication. Employees with special circumstances are welcome to reach out to us and we will accommodate as necessary. The safety of our employees is our number one priority. We appreciate your input and stay safe!
