Pros

Great salary and bonuses package when available.

Cons

Health and dental plans are expensive when compared to other place I worked. Management is old school and based on old buddies from the past who have not really evolved in management and leadership skills. Very high school mentality. The lab is a rather toxic environment but employees are staying mainly because of the money...

Pros

Nice campus, some good co-workers and mid level managers

Cons

The culture at Medpace is not good at all. There is very high turnover. Upper management seems to continue to make decisions that make life more difficult for employees. They disguise layoffs with policy violations even after no warnings and approval from direct supervisors. They make you sign a non compete that no other CROs do for low level positions. There are better jobs in this industry and adjacent to this industry - do not work here.

Thank you for your feedback. With regard to our non-compete agreement, a non-compete agreement is a very common practice in competitive industries, such as ours. Medpace notifies all candidates who interview of our employment contract prior to offering a position. This allows each candidate to evaluate if the non-compete agreement is something they feel comfortable with prior to joining the organization. In terms of policy violations, Medpace is in a highly regulated industry, we hold our employees to the highest level of compliance with all Medpace policies. Failure to comply with Medpace policy, for example, the Remote Work Policy, may impact eligibility for discretionary bonus, merit, promotion, or employment. We recognize we cannot please everyone, but we do our best to provide an environment where our employees feel challenged, motivated, valued, and encouraged to advance. We are sorry Medpace was not a fit for you but wish you well in your future endeavors.

Pros

nothing anymore, maybe free soda in the soda machine.

Cons

Recently, we were given just two weeks’ notice to completely rearrange our lives due to a change in the work-from-home policy. Now, Medpace has decided which days we work remotely, effectively removing 26 flexible days that were part of our work-life balance. I joined this company for the flexibility and growth opportunities, but it’s becoming harder to stay motivated when the benefits keep getting reduced. Despite working hard and following every rule, it often feels like we’re being penalized rather than rewarded. This shift is pushing many dedicated employees to the edge of burnout. I sincerely hope these reviews are taken seriously, as something needs to change to retain the talent and commitment of this workforce.

We are surprised by your review as you listed your current role as a CTA, which is a support role without WFH opportunities. However, for those with WFH options, it is correct that we have made recent changes to our remote work policy in support of our culture of in-office collaboration, while still providing opportunities for associates to work from home occasionally, when personal flexibility is needed. We recognize we cannot please everyone, and we do our best to provide an environment where our employees feel challenged, motivated, valued, and encouraged to advance.
