When I first joined the company there for 4 managers and a brand new director. During the first 6 months, all 4 managers and the director left the company. I was brand new to medical writing and went without a manager for months. Never felt valued as an employee, in fact there was constant a revolving door of employees.

We encourage any employees who have issues with training to discuss with their direct supervisor or come to their HR Representative. We would love to ensure every employee feels comfortable in their department, but can’t fix issues we don’t know about. Any issues with management should also be brought to HR. We’re sorry to hear you feel this way about Medpace. We have a great community within the organization and always strive to make sure every employee feels valued. Although we are disappointed to hear that you had a negative experience within the organization, we understand that the high standards to which we ask our employees to excel at are not for everyone. This is what we believe distinguishes us from other CROs. We work hard to ensure we are place that attracts employees not just for the short term, but are a place that our associates can grow in their career. We are extremely proud of the diverse culture we promote here at Medpace. We value employees from all different backgrounds and believe that contributes to much of our success. We love to bring in individuals with no experience to train them up in the industry and give them an opportunity to continue advancing. Contrary to your comments, we consistently work with our Compensation and Benefits team to review salary and benchmarks to assure we are aligned with the market while also being competitive in the industry. We do acknowledge that Medpace is not a fit for everyone, and we are okay with that. Every employee has different needs, and it is unrealistic to think we can meet all of them. However, we always try our best to make every employee feel valued and satisfied in their position at the organization. We encourage all employees to address concerns with their manager or HR representative while employed with us so we can try to fix any issues that may arise. It is apparent that Medpace was not the best fit for you, but we wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

-Opportunities to gain training & experience if you are a fast learner, can handle extreme multitasking, and work well under pressure -Lots of PTO and sick time provided -The team that I worked with is the only thing that kept me at Medpace for as long as I did. The managers I work under, along with my peers, have helped me grow as a professional in the clinical trial industry, and I can confidently say that I'm am a more competitive candidate in my field. This is what makes working for Medpace even remotely worth considering.

Cons

-Compensation and health benefits are not competitive -Lack of respect and appreciation for employees from upper management -Office space in the new building in very uncomfortable (you sit less then 6 feet away from your desk mates), and there is zero privacy to speak to your direct supervisor since all offices and conference rooms are glass, so you can hear and see everything. -Unmanageable workload with no end in sight has resulted in low morale and quality of work has been compromised across the board -Support and communication from HR or the CEO are virtually non-existent.

Compensation is reviewed on a regular basis within the organization. We work with our Compensation and Benefits team to review salary and benchmarks to assure we are aligned with the market while also being competitive in the industry. We are extremely excited about the new facilities we’re building on our headquarters campus. This 7-story building is an incredible space for our employees to collaborate, and will also include a fitness center, food court, and parking garage. We love our bright, open and modern aesthetic and we’re sorry to hear you disagree – we can’t please everybody. We are also saddened to hear about your feelings toward our HR team. Our HR department strives to serve the employees of the organization and provide a collaborative environment where they can continue to grow and thrive within the organization. Any issues brought to HR are prioritized accordingly. More specifically, they are all reviewed, and then escalated as necessary. We are always open to suggestions and feedback and appreciate your review.
