Pros

Free products every month. Generally a good work life/balance. Yearly cost of living salary increases (average 2-3 percent) when not ranked poorly. Lots of new projects to work on. Some teams have great team cohesion. Some fun company events throughout the year with entertainment and prizes. Generally a family friendly environment. Relocation was provided for my move.

Cons

Work/life is good, until arbitrary deadlines are put on projects. Then expect extreme overtime with inconsistent or no recognition or benefit afterward. Business as usual next day at 8am sharp. Absolutely no support for training or skills expansion. No type of training is allowed on company time or with company resources, pretty hesitant to use anything open source or non-Microsoft, and more.

Pros

I liked the benefits here. Decent Health Care benefits and 401k plans. There were a few fun perks such as free products, a built-in gym, and cafeteria. Some holidays off.

Cons

Many of the reviews I see here are by "marketing executives." It's SO important to realize these are NOT actually EMPLOYEES of the company. They are simply selling Melaleuca products. BIG difference! There is no room for personal growth. Unless you are related to someone in upper management. Or if you are willing to kiss upper management's behind the most. Compensation is awful. For the area I suppose it's about as high as you will get, but they are truly holding back on employee earning rates. You are subject to the big man's very conservative opinions in every aspect of work. He does not take advice from anyone, why should he have to when he is a millionaire. He also is very lawsuit happy. If you look up his name, plus the word lawsuit, you will find several dozens. It's not for the money, so you can assume it's for the power trip. They also have a horrid structure for raises, promotions, and terminations. I feel there would be a lot more lawsuits against the upper management if they weren't so threatening. These are just my own observations. Take it for what it's worth!

Pros

The workplace was kept clean. Co workers were dressed appropriately. The CEO set good standards to follow. A sense of comfortable workplace overall. Fun company parties. Benefits are okay.

Cons

Qualified persons often overlooked by upper management. Talents ignored in place of company politics. Employees with close ties or family relations not held to the same correctional actions as those without connections. Very immature action plan for improvements. Literally boxes set around the company (for employees to write complaints) with a lock that the "CEO personally reads and takes I to consideration." Instead of teaching the importance of verbal candidness. Lack of quality leadership to care about employees. CEO very bold and unmoved in his own opinions, regardless of integrity of ideas being put forth.
