Pros

-Amazing organization where I am proud to work. -A lot of opportunitiy for advancement. They love to promote from within. -Great benefits -A lot of opportunity to interact with patients and help to make their hospital experience better

Cons

Entry level jobs are very administrative- there tends to be a lot of faxing and copying. In such a big organization this needs to happen somewhere though.

Pros

Culture is very relaxed on SPI, Strategic Initiatives team. Great emphasis on developing skills and producing results, with a relatively flat hierarchy - little or no bureaucracy. Strong quantitative analysis and advanced tools that aren't learned or used in many other places. Even at entry level, great opportunity to influence major hospital decisions.

Cons

Not many downsides, except pay could be better.

Pros

It has one of the better health benefits around. It also has many departments in order for you to expand your horizon

Cons

Considering the fact that it resides in Manhattan, it is indeed a trip to make it to the cancer center if you are commuting from outside Manhattan or in Jersey.
