Pros

Access to a lot of high tech companies with the potential to get an offer from one as an SDR

Cons

Training is lacking- it is not the "intensive training" described in their job posting. Not enough resources for each SDR to succeed at their job. Most have to be shared, and you only get an hour a day for each, due to lack of budget.

Thank you for posting your open and honest feedback. Our extensive experience in professional inside sales tells us that the overwhelming majority of early-career sales roles across the country provide almost no sales-specific training for new hires. Many of these companies instead try to get a new sales rep simply “up to speed” on their products and services as fast as possible before turning them loose on their work with little regard to their sales skills – it’s simply sink or swim. We stand behind our methodologies and processes, which incorporate a strong mix of one-on-one coaching, instructor-led online classroom work and self-paced audio courses. When you blend these strategies with all of the other avenues our reps have to improve their sales skills (in-house mentorship programs, regular new hire huddles and small group workshops), we believe we’ve got something an engaged professional can seriously learn from. The fact that all of these training avenues happen in parallel with real sales work is also by design – the “fire” can provide powerful lessons, too – but only when it’s experienced in conjunction with ongoing training. This is the large gap between our methods and those of the companies referenced above. We’ll certainly continue to ensure there is no ambiguity between our approach to inside sales and what our clients know and expect. It’s something we’re proud of and a point of emphasis up front in our own sales process. We’re different and we’ve found it to be highly effective for everyone involved.

Pros

Great people with a family environment. Moved to DC knowing no one, and have made some best friends here. Gained experience and expanded my skill set. Recommend to everyone trying to start a sales career.

Cons

May get stuck with a bad client, but still gives you a ton of experience. More product info maybe could help.

Pros

The people are the main pro of memoryBlue. All of the employees at memoryBlue are great resources for now as well as in the future. Each person was hand selected because they possessed certain skills that will help them succeed in a sales environment and each person has their own unique perspective. Building relationships, having an open mind, and being willing to learn from these people will help you be successful in memoryBlue as well as in your jobs later in life. The culture, there is a "work hard, play hard" mentality here that drives people to hustle during the day but also know how to not take work home with them and have a good work life balance.

Cons

It is not an easy job. If you are coming into memoryBlue thinking you are going into sales because it is an easy profession you are wrong. This job takes a lot of hard work and dedication in order to be successful. You have to put in your time.
