Pros

memoryBlue was a great opportunity for me as a recent college graduate. I was able to have a very hands-on manager that supported my professional development which ultimately led to my client extending me an offer. If you put in the work and "trust the process" so to speak I would recommend memoryBlue to anyone who is looking to further their sales skills and explore what a career in tech sales has to offer.

Cons

Compensation starts somewhat low but gets significantly higher with time and effort.

Pros

The experience you will get at mB is like no other. You get exposure to a variety of different verticals in the tech industry which helps give you direction on where you want to take your career. The job is tough and the standards are high which leads to top performers If you are new to sales and consulting, memoryBlue is a no-brainer. Training is unparalleled. No matter the position you are in, you will be continuously trained and developed not only as a salesperson but as a professional as well. Culture (shoutout Denver office!). I have met some of my closest friends while working at memoryBlue. We have some of the most fun and creative culture events in the whole company. Additionally, everyone here is always willing to help each other out by either giving feedback through team collaboration or picking you up after a tough call. It is an environment filled with competition and support for each other,

Cons

The expectation that all clients are the same. Some clients care about different things, but mB standards don't change. Keeping clients around is made a priority when volume is not always the answer.

Pros

This is THE place to get your foot in the door and gain understanding of where you would like to be in the tech world. The sales skills you can learn here will carry you through the rest of your career. Most people who work here are able to build a network that allows them never to have to cold apply on LinkedIn again.

Cons

The difference in outsourced campaigns is real. There's no way that an SDR on a campaign with a $100,000 avg. sales price should be held to the same standard as one who moves a $2,000 product. The experience may pay off in the long run but getting on a challenging campaign here will have you fighting tooth and nail for your job.
