      Pros

      Everyone in the company gets paid hourly. Profit sharing for everyone meeting 1000 hour requirement starting at 2.5% and maxing out at 15% of your gross income. $2.50 extra per hour for everyone who works on the weekends or recognized holidays that the company is open. Full time employees and managers get every other weekend off. Managers also get a decent bonus for making sales and payroll.

      Cons

      Being a manager you are required to work long hours with no regulations whereas non management is regulated to not being allowed to work more than 10 hours or work a closing shift followed by an opening shift. Negative part of the manager bonus is that you only get the bonus once a year and that is the bulk of the money you make at one time.

      Pros

      Even though it's a large company, the corporate culture felt like a family. I was in the HR role, but learned a lot about home improvement topics while there as I would be asked to walk the floor and help with customers. I liked how they really desired to promote from within for the manager positions. They are very numbers driven, so from a business perspective that was a huge pro, however, that would take a toll on many of the mgrs. as the work would then fall to their shoulders to complete.

      Cons

      My work space was near the doors, so it would be freezing at my work station. Like many retail shops it was constant turnover, so it felt like a revolving door there.
