They are terrible. Management is awful. They expect writers to write more than possible. You have to write 45 pages per day and if you don’t you’ll be fired. They also will not accept any constructive criticism. They say constructive criticism is good but then get angry when they receive it. Management thinks they are above everyone else and talk down to anyone below them. All workers know how bad they are and we talked about it amongst ourselves. Do yourself a favor and don’t work here. It’s not worth it

Everything was going great when I first started here, then management began to show their true character. I quickly came to realize how toxic, and manipulative this group of managers are. They willfully exploit their employees, underpay them, and take all the credit for the hard work. Their mission is admirable and the way they want to help the client is unlike most law firms, however it is not worth what they put you through as an employee. Management would constantly create problems, blame us for them, and make us fix them. They will assure you they care about your feedback, and want to hear your advice on how to make the job process better but will not l listen to whatever suggestions. In fact, they will get offended that you are offering suggestions even though they asked for them in the first place, due to their own arrogance, they see it as you questioning their intelligence, and you end up getting in trouble for offering your opinions that they claimed were important to them. They are constantly contradicting themselves, from one meeting to the next everything they say they want, will change. On my initial onboarding meeting, my manager told me, "we don't do cross-training very much, we think it's important to focus on your job so you can do that to the best of your ability, if you're always learning new roles you won't perfect yours." I loved that because I agree that is the most effective way to improve in your role, but then a few weeks into working there at a staff meeting that script changed, they told us "Guys cross-training is really important for us, in order for us to grow, we all have to learn a little bit of each other's position." A complete contradiction to what was told to me, this is one of the many examples of them changing things up out of the blue. It was an extremely confusing, and exhausting place to work. Two of the only men in the office are EXTREMELY rude to the employees who work under them who happen to all be women. They claim to be all about women empowerment but allow the men that are managers to be extremely disrespectful for no reason and without repercussion. I avoided talking to those two men at all costs to avoid getting spoken to aggressively the way they liked to do. It's also extremely hard to get any time off, they brag about their great "work life balance" but they will deny any request for time off you ask for, or they will question you to death about where you're going and why it makes you just want to not take the day off at all. Doctors appointments, family members passing, etc it does not matter they will do everything they can to convince you to not take that day off. It is ridiculous, meanwhile, the two main bosses take days off all the time, get their late every single day, and leave early, even at the cost of important meetings, and clients waiting on them. They work their paralegals like dogs while underpaying them SEVERELY. If you are a paralegal, be aware they pay SIGNIFICANTLY less than the average salary for a paralegal in Texas, which is ABHORRENT, considering paralegals do almost all of the caseload. They will also expect you to do several other roles while staying on top of the case review. The difference in treatment and behavior from the management to employees is so clear. You are under extreme surveillance at all times, every hallway, corridor, office, elevator, stairwell, etc have cameras with audio. No phones allowed, do not linger at anyone's desk that is not yours, do not be late for lunch, etc. All of these very strict rules, but NONE of these apply to management. Management will sit around and eat together for almost 2 hours, they are allowed to hang out, talk, be on their phones with no repercussion. I literally do not understand what my direct supervisor did all day, I would constantly see them sitting around in different offices talking for hours but not getting anything we needed from them done. They constantly complain about "gossiping" amongst employees when they are the main ones that sit around and talk about us instead of working. They are constantly looking for people to blame when the job is behind and going slow instead of looking at the process they created, they refuse to look inward and realize that they are the problem. Employee after employee will show them the inefficiencies in the system and how it could be improved but they ignore that and choose to blame it on you for working "too slow." Working here was the most miserable I've been in a long time, they will try to discredit every bad review by adding good ones that they forced their employees that are still there to make. But be aware, their turnover rate is extremely high, over 10 people were fired or quit within the short amount of time I was there. This is not a good sign and reflects on the terrible environment they have created. They will be their own downfall, if they continue to blame everyone they hire for the problems they constantly create they are never going to succeed. I am grateful for all I learned but would never recommend working here to anyone.
