Pros

The compensation is pretty good. The social committee works hard to encourage interaction with the employees around holidays and once in the summer.

Cons

Poor management choices, lack in praise to hard working employees, generally expected to work very long hours. My choice to go to school was not encouraged, but discouraged by several managers. Several people keep leaving and management takes its time to start the hiring process leaving our already short staffed group to struggle more. HR department is virtually non-existent. Groups working in different states often have serious differences cause friction between states.

Pros

Good opportunities to get involved right away. Often times an Analyst can work directly with a Principal on a project team. In this setup, an individual can learn a lot right away.

Cons

An analyst should expect to work long hours. There is a general feeling that senior management does not respect an analyst's time. The annual review process is not very transparent, and many junior level staff are ultimately left confused about their rating. High performers are not awarded given their contribution, causing many to leave for better opportunities elsewhere.
