Pros

Flexibility and time off policies, along with opportunities for professional growth.

Cons

Thinly staffed and demanding schedule. You have to be pretty intuitive and motivated to work here, or you'll never make it. mentoring is non-existant.

Pros

The best reason to work at Mercer is the quality of the consulting staff who are smart and driven without being cut throat competitive. Mercer also has a very open and collaborative work environment. Historically has been a great company for advancement for self-motivated, entrepreneurial types. Mercer also has an unrivaled array of offerings, specialties and is generally very supportive of lateral movement within the company.

Cons

Mercer has a distinct lack of clarity around career paths and how rewards are distributed. Recently, the company has also engaged in a proliferation of processes and infrastructure that hinders consultants from spending time on clients.
