Pros

Good salaries, mostly remote. Challenging, never the same day.

Cons

Latam leadership is not transparent. All the communication are scripted. Not genuine. Somehow hypocrites. Focus on bottom line. They say they will be improving stuff for their people and nothing really has changed. Benefits are mostly legal nothing great.

Pros

The people (most of them anyway), the ability to push for innovation - no idea was ever a bad idea. Also probably the most supportive line manager I’ve ever had.

Cons

Performance management at that Senior Associate/Associate level is non existent and means you end up picking up others work whilst they swan around telling everyone how great they are doing. Pigeon holing staff as well was common, the job I left Mercer for is bigger than the one I did, but had it existed in Mercer I wouldn’t have even been considered so there’s a lack of development there for sure. Under resourcing the teams meant backlogs which impacts every other area of the business, we then spend too much time trying to work out how to fix the other areas rather than get to the root cause.
