Pros

Great knowledge-expanding environment (Brown-bag lunches, guest-speakers); Everyone cares about humanitarian issues; Overly-friendly co-workers, regardless of which department you work in; Great office layout and physical location on the Waterfront;

Cons

A bit superficial sense of community; mis-communication of what interns can expect; would be great if more opportunities for networking were provided (for interns). Departments should communicate with each other better (I accidentally got accepted for two internship positions simultaneously).

Pros

Learning and satisfaction to serve the society and marginalised communities you work with and that's always a great sense of accomplishment. So my experience was great.

Cons

In certain countries they operate with local partners which can be a head ache. So the best thing is to have a proper country office with a proper setup.
