Colleagues there because they believe in it and love to travel but don't necessarily have professional training in project management, using and evaluating evidence, business processes, monitoring and evaluation, research to name a few I run into in my work. If you are a CEO favorite they'll always find a role for you if yours ends or there is a re-org. MC says they are all about using participatory methods out in the field but they don't use this at HQ with their own staff. Lack of consultation with their own experts.

Ruined due to the bad management of the country office, so much office politics and gossip. High turnover.
