Pros

Worked with some very bright people.

Cons

Little to no work/life balance. Constantly swelling level of executive managers which change direction requiring the ability to constantly drop everything until the next manager comes in and changes direction again. Executive managers do not value talent, experience, or education. Leadership of the physician group is what will ruin everything that makes Mercy unique.

Pros

Mercy Health is a great organization with hardworking, honest people and a positive work environment. The Home Office is clean and modern and the open floor plans make it very easy to interact with coworkers and management. Work life balance is important here. Benefits plan is pretty good too.

Cons

Sometimes work over 40 hours a week After hours on call (nights and weekends)

Pros

Love my coworkers. Did attempt to provide competitive pay. My direct bosses do realize how bad off we are and want to get us help.

Cons

As long as they’re In the black and getting their Medicare reimbursements. They work us like dogs. Usually don’t get a lunch
