Small Hospital

Pros

a small hospital with less patients than some would expect. can be very slow for some positions or very busy for others. they offer school tuition reimbursement, but only for education that benefits the hospital. most positions are union. fewer employees creates better relationships. if you keep to yourself then you wont have any issues. due to down time (for some departments) excellent place to work if working on education.

Cons

management is lax at times, then strict on miniscule ideas. pay is low for secondary staff (i.e. non-nursing) facility is regularly understaffed. revolving door of employees in some departments. becoming to personal leads people into the social/work politics.
