Most people are there because they want to help others and feel it is a calling to do so. The benefits are good. Further education is available through discounted online degree programs.

Cons

A lot of changes in management in this department as well as many others. The overall feeling now is that it is a business and cutbacks have happened that have negatively effected the work atmosphere.
