Pros

Good Doctors, new equipment. It said to wrote 20 words, I can't think of any other pros.

Cons

I left after 4 months of lousy experienced RN wages, 28.83 for 29 years of experience, 4.00 an hour above base. Laughable, peanut wages. Nursing is a career with many responsibilities that I expect to be compensated for. The other hospitals in the area pay around 33-35 an hour. Be prepared to work mandatory extra weekend shifts and extra weekday shifts, often times if not needed by your home unit expect to be floated to cover other units or be prepared to be called off and paid a whole dollar or two an hour to sit at home and wait on them to call you in. It's not my job to cover for staff that they can't get or keep. If I CHOOSE to work overtime, I know how to sign up in the schedule. It'd be better to force management to work OT, they can, they have RN after their name as well. I found it pretty pathetic that management was more concerned about the dry erase boards being up to date than they were about the lack of staff. My advice to any RN, especially experienced RNs thinking of working here: go elsewhere. RUN!!

Pros

Great pay. Guaranteed full time. Decent shifts. That's honestly about it. Keeps you busy. 2 fifteen minute breaks and then a 30 minute lunch.

Cons

Collecting predetermined amounts of money that aren't even the correct amounts is highly upsetting and unsettling. There needs to be a payment system for this poor environment and society.
