Pros

Good overall employee benefits. In terms of IT, they have a chance to really become a competitor and are headed in the right direction.

Cons

Politics and people. For a place with a vision and guiding principles, it has not bled over into the IT department.

Pros

I like most of the people that I work with, they seem to be working for the right reason. There are decent benefits and there is a pretty big opportunity to get higher up into the company. They typically hire within the company, before hiring outside of the company. Mercy wants you to use your PTO time!

Cons

The salary is a lot less due to being a non-profit company. There seems to be an issue with management currently, especially when it comes to annual reviews, someone has dropped the ball, however other coworkers have had no issues with their raises/reviews.
