      Pros

      You’re always learning something new, the patients, using Allscripts was very easy, ability to come up with ideas on how to provide better patient care, make work processes flow better.

      Cons

      The pay for what a medical assistant does in a clinic setting is too low in my opinion. Harassment by supervisor with no consequences or follow up, no room for advancement, wish-washy polices that were not followed making patient care suffer.

      Direct supervision "gets it", understands, and tries to work towards quality of care.

      Cons

      Admin has to make tough decisions for economic challenges. But that feels like they only care about money, while we are fighting for good care.
