Pros

They pay better than everyone except Garland for your first year. You get paid for additional PD. Lots of professional learning opportunities. Curriculum is made for you, you just copy and paste and choose your resources. Also had three double plan periods a week when I was there but it may be going away.

Cons

Special Ed starting to outsource IEP goal writing to people outside the child’s school was a disaster, behavior can be rough, no A rated schools at this time, only a third of elementary schools are B rated.

This was a terrible job. The kids made it bearable.

Cons

The principals are just cliques that bully people that they don’t like and push them to quit. They abuse authority and abuse the employees.
