Shady practices and terrible upper management
Pros
Coworkers were always a pleasure and it's a fun, close-knit group. Not much drama between employees and it's pretty laid back environment.
Cons
-Upper management doesn't let the department managers run their department, the general manager needs to have his hand in every cookie jar to be happy. -Way too much "behind closed doors" talk from management, employees are often left in the dark about things until last minute. -Multiple reports of sexual harassment against multiple managers that went ignored by HR and also went as far as to delete footage of the harassment before an investigation could be done. -Half of the year is a slow season for car buying so hours get cut down to less than 24 hours/week at times (even full-time). Every year, at least 3 months are spent at cut hours and the most I ever got to work was 32 hours/week. -Almost all of the managers have been with the company since Day 1, they are tight-knit and will protect each other over anything else.
