      Pros

      I have greatly enjoyed my employment with MetroHealth. The staff I work with operate as a team and are focused on optimum service delivery. My manager works collaboratively with me. The organization is committed to community engagement and and ethical internal practice. Salary and benefits are commiserative with experience.

      Cons

      There is a 3 month waiting period before benefits begin, as a new hire., health insurance in particular This is not consistent with current business practices and place difficulties on new employees and their family's.

      Pros

      Great Company culture overall and decent pay. They do alot for the poor and uninsured, etc.

      Cons

      No help from leadership. Noone is every on the same page regarding policies etc. I felt like everything I did was wrong. The management team will hang you out to dry. No real room for advancement and the point systems for calling off sick is absurd!

      There is no better hospital to work

      Pros

      I have been here over 20 years. The camaraderie and support and commitment to outstanding care makes Metro the best hospital to work, by far. During preparation for COVID and since, this has been even more evident. It has been a very stressful time, and it is clear that we are ALL in this together.

      Cons

      Due to financial constraints, support staff for healthcare providers is less than it needs to be . But it is still the best place.
