      Pros

      Started at MetroHealth in 1987 as a new RN. If I wouldn't have left I could be retired by now. They truly live their mission to serve those in need in Cuyahoga County. Excellent trauma services.

      Cons

      It takes HR too long to approve and hire new nurses, so we work short staffed much of the time.

      Coworkers are friendly and helpful. There is a strong commitment to patients and mission regardless of department (medical or administrative). You feel as though your work has the opportunity to positively impact people's lives.

      Unclear path to promotion/career trajectory. Limited flexibility with working hours.
