OPERS retirement. That is the only perk.

Cons

Unqualified management that fights with you on things like basic supplies, harsh emails for petty things like a patients towel falling on the floor, extra workload from management because they don't know how to do their own jobs.

The health system provides an amazing service for the community, but executive management is truly uninspiring.

Pros

Metro employs some of the best and most dedicated medical and professional staff I have seen. The community it supports would be terribly impacted if services were ever reduced.

Cons

During my short tenure (less than one year), both the CFO and COO postions were changed twice. Each time there was a radically different vision for how the financial and operations should be handled.
